The 115th Oaks Stakes took place on Friday 2nd June 1893 and was won by Mrs Butterwick (100/7), by St Simon out of Miss Middlewick trained by George Dawson, who won by 1/2 a length in 2 mins 44.80 secs. The winner won £5,150 (Equivalent to £602,600 in 2017) and there were 17 runners.
